3rd Round: Buick Championship

Just a couple of things: Justin Rose in the woods on the 10th was pretty interesting. It's great that he doesn't get too excited about things like that. A lot better than the whiners who throw tantrums over missing eagle putts when they are already ahead by 2 or 3 shots. I get the feeling that Rose doesn't look at these stray shots as obstacles, but challenges. I think the game of golf is still fun for him. It may not be fun for some of the other players out there. Also, just a comment about Corey Pavin. Everyone says that he can't play competitively anymore because all the courses are getting longer, but it looked to me today that his putting was hurting him. One final thought about the third round: It seemed like the announce crew was a bit hungry. I'm sure everytime they used the phrase "crispy greens" they were really thinking of Krispy Creme doughnuts.
