1. Good play to cheer for is rare.
2. It's doubtful anyone can mount a charge and come from behind or shoot a really low score to challenge leaders.
3. It's depressing to hear the announcers say over and over again, "this is for bogey", "rough, rough, rough", "this is to save par".
I think the announcers are stressed over trying to find something to wake up the tv audience with.
And I think that all the golfers are going to be too exhausted after this tournament to play next week. I know many players don't play the week after a major, but some do and I don't think they will be playing this year.
