Another Absurd Media Comment

Kelly Whatsername on the Sprint Post Game show last night asked that since Tiger and Annika both missed out on the scoring trophy (The Vardon and Vare Trophies) that should the requirement of # of rounds be lowered. What?!!!?? These two are the best players in the world, why should they be given a break??? The last time I checked, trophies were rewards for achievements, not tangible reflections of a multi-billion dollar popularity contest. Everyone is lamenting the state of US golf and how there are no young players making a charge. Well, how can they when things like this happen? The media and I'm sure others are doing their best to keep the sport a Tiger only sport. This is just the latest, most blatant example.
